Lir Theatre VisitOn Wednesday 1 May pupils representing Senior Drama at The High School attended a Technical Theatre and Skills workshop at The Lir Academy, Dublin. The Lir is Ireland’s national college of performing arts and one of the most prestigious Drama schools in the country. The session involved learning about the practical and technical aspects of the theatre– the lights, the sounds, the action. Members of The High School drama department were invited to the Lir in order to pilot the workshop for other schools in the future and it was an honour to attend.
