Good morning, everyone! I hope you had an amazing week! For all you Moms out there, I hope you had a GREAT Mother's Day! We celebrated it with my beautiful bride and kids, and had a GREAT time! One of the highlights was we found out what our dog Barkley bought Barbara. He asked for my credit card weeks ago, took some selfies, and VOILA, he gave his portrait to my beautiful bride for Mother's Day. That dog is crazy! Every time I walk by it I laugh, so I think he made a good decision. If you want to make your family laugh, check out Paw and York. They do good work! They'll make your dog or cat royalty!
OK, onto the work side of things. The Supreme Court on Monday handed consumers a VICTORY! They ruled 5-4 that consumers can sue Apple over their alleged monopoly with their App Store. As all Apple owners know, you can't get any software on your iPhone or iPad without the App Store, unless you jailbreak them. This creates a monopoly. Apple controls everything in or out. The case rose from complaints that Apple's App Store overcharges for software. Apple charges developers $99 a year, and gets 30% of the revenue generated. Oh, and developers aren't allowed to sell their software OUTSIDE of the App Store. If
that doesn't SCREAM MONOPOLY, I don't know what does, and the Supreme Court agrees. You'll see more about this, and the class actions filed against Apple, in the coming weeks!
That's all for now! Make it a GREAT week!
Warm
