87 Days to go!

In less than 100 days, the Caledon Pan Am Equestrian Park and the nearby Pan Am Cross-Country Centre will play host to nearly 150 Pan Am equestrian athletes and horses, and at least 3,000 spectators per day in the Pan Am Games, one of the world’s largest sporting events.

Town of Caledon Mayor Allan Thompson, Town of Mono Mayor Laura Ryan, Town of Caledon Council, and Town Hall staff commemorated the TO2015 Pan Am Games milestone day with a flag raising ceremony at Town Hall yesterday, April 1, which marked 100 days until the Games. Imagine. Plan. Play!

Caledon launches town-wide consultation for parks and recreation

Caledon’s Parks and Recreation department has launched the Imagine. Plan. Play! campaign – a visioning exercise to check the pulse of municipal recreation services, identify changes in recreational needs, explore ways to fund increased services, and develop a planning strategy.

Recreation services impact the quality of life for all of Caledon’s residents, including your employees. We want to hear from our business community, and over the next two months, there will be plenty of ways to participate.  Visit caledon.ca/imagineplanplay to see the workshop schedules and links to surveys and social media options.
