Good morning everyone! I hope you had a FANTASTIC Halloween. Here in the U.S., TODAY IS ELECTION DAY! If you're an American, please make sure to get out there and VOTE! If you're like me, you may have already voted (thank you mail-in ballots) but I'm sure many (something like possibly half of Americans) will go in person. Also, if you're like me, you can't WAIT for Election Day to be OVER! No more text messages, phone calls and voicemails from candidates asking for money and volunteers asking for YES or NO votes to propositions on the ballots. Hopefully, Wednesday will be a day of rest, but with the election likely to be contested, I'm sure it'll be a crazy day. Either way, no more "VOTE FOR ME and DON'T VOTE FOR THAT PERSON! THEY STINK!" commercials, which is wonderful!
On the work side of things, it's busy as always. I'll be speaking at an international class action conference later this month. It was supposed to be a super awesome birthday trip for my beautiful bride to London but, unfortunately, like all conferences, it's gone virtual. To make it up to my wife and make her feel like we're in England, I'm driving on the "wrong" side of the road in our neighborhood and yelling, "Cheerio!", "I'm chuffed to bits," and "I'm knackered" at odd times in a British accent. Since neither of us know what the last two sayings mean, it's almost just as confusing as it would be if we were actually in England. ;) Hopefully, we'll make it there next year!
OK, on to more lawsuit and settlement updates!
That's all for now! Make it a GREAT week!
Warm Regards,
