Future Knowledge 'Thousands of years of human culture can continue to flourish only if we can learn to live in balance with the biosphere.' - Michael Pawlyn of Exploration Architecture Bringing together artworks, prototypes and projects by artists, designers and thinkers from a wide range of different disciplines, Future Knowledge offers a fascinating and diverse range of creative responses to environmental concerns. Shadowlight Artists: Rising
Film Oxford presents new works by the Shadowlight Artists, a group of six artists with learning disabilities based in Oxfordshire. Presented across two venues, Arts at the Old Fire Station and Modern Art Oxford, Shadowlight Artists: Rising celebrates the group’s creative growth since forming in 2009 with an ambitious body of work that re-frames disability arts. Join us to celebrate the opening of the exhibition on Friday 19 October, from 6-7pm at Arts at the Old Fire Station and 7-9pm at Modern Art Oxford.
