UK Media OpportunityWe are seeking expressions of interest from local operators who might be keen to host Claire Jeans from Bradt Guides. If we can get enough interest, which aligns with Claire's brief, we'd be happy to facilitate and host her in region. Please register your interst with Megan. Bradt Guides, the world’s largest independently-owned guidebook publisher – is planning their first New Zealand Bradt Travel Guide and writer Claire Jeans will be visiting this 27 September 2025 - 11 January 2026. The guide will cover the entirety of New Zealand and is due to be published in the UK, US, Australia and Europe in 2027. Claire will be focusing on Culture, History, Environment/Respective travel, Access to off the beaten track experiences, Activities, Food, Freedom Camping, Campers, Transport, Outdoors, travelling in the off season, among others. Bradt Guides are read by an older demographic, who spend more and stay for longer. Marketing WorkshopEarlier this week we were delighted to host Tim and Zac from Maverick Digital, supported by Soda Inc, for a workshop on marketing 101, tips and trends. Operators from around Hauraki Coromandel came together to upskill on where to focus their marketing efforts, how to integrate marketing activity, the importance of content and SEO, and how to work with AI.
