A message from Justin Greenwell, Director of Private Hospitals
|
|
A few years ago we made a change to clinical streams based on global best practice in the health industry. This resulted in excellent clinical outcomes and improvements but also created inconsistences in the private patient experience. I’m pleased to have the opportunity to strengthen our private patient experience, working with you in this newly created role, as Mater’s Director of Private Hospitals.
This change is about making things simpler, encouraging more sharing and collaboration, enhancing the private patient experience, and helping us all move great ideas forward. There is no magic ingredient or silver bullet to get this right but my starting point will be to listen to you, our doctors, and our Mater staff to focus on the patient experience.
I am based at Mater Private Hospital Brisbane but will spend time at all of our private hospitals. I’m here to support you with any queries, concerns or ideas and I look forward to meeting you.
Kind regards
Justin Greenwell

As we reveal the new brand tomorrow, we will also launch our new Mater Group website and new signage. This is an exciting step forward for Mater in line with our new strategic direction of integrating Mater Health, Mater Education, Mater Research and Mater Foundation to improve the health of our community.
