Dean Ridings, president and CEO of Intersect Media Solutions and the Florida Press Association, effective Nov. 1. Dean has accepted the CEO position at the newly formed America’s Newspapers. This organization was formed out of the merger of the Inland Press Association and Southern Newspaper Publishers Association. 2020 Florida Media ConferenceThe 2020 Florida Media Conference will be held July 22-24 at The Westin Sarasota. Hosted by the Florida Press Foundation, the Florida Media Conference is an annual event that brings together top Florida media executives for two days of industry education and networking. Juried by recognized out-of-state magazine and newspaper professionals, and college journalism professors, hundreds of entries vie for first, second and third place awards—Charlie, Silver and Bronze.
