The impact of disruption |
As Amazon quietly launched its Australian operations yesterday to the fear and trepidation of local retailers we were considering the positive impact this will have on the retail sector and how consumers should be the ultimate winners.
Not only is there the promise of job creation, discounted products and an effective online shopping platform, the innovative approach Amazon takes to their business development and the consideration given to their customers and their operating environment lends itself to a culture of shared value where both consumer and business needs are met.
Our congratulations to DFAT on the announcement of the second round of their Business Partnerships Platform and to the 10 new partnerships that will support Australia’s aid program.
Looking ahead to the new year, we encourage you to mark 18 April 2018 in your calendars and join us in Sydney for the 2018 Shared Value Summit Asia Pacific.
