Netcope P4

NP4 is available for a range of hardware based on Xilinx Virtex UltraScale+ and Intel Arria 10 FPGAs.

If your company needs Network Security, Filtering or Monitoring and you have network engineers that would like to deploy FPGAs-based SmartNICs in an existing or new network, P4 Language can help make it simple.

You can utilise your current expertise and deploy an FPGA using Netcope P4 which allows for P4 to VHDL translation that cuts down time to market and reduces significantly the lines of code required.

What is P4?

P4 is a high-level, declarative language for programming protocol-independent packet processing, so any network engineer can take charge of it just as easily as they would take charge of C++.

VersaLogic Releases Low Cost Intel Bay Trail PC/104-Plus Computer

VersaLogic Corp. has announced "SandCat" - a rugged, low-cost PC/104-Plus™ Single Board Computer (SBC). Based on Intel's highly successful Bay Trail System-on-Chip (SoC), SandCat is an entry level SBC that provides a cost optimised performance level and I/O capability.

The Sandcat is designed and tested for industrial temperature (-40° to +85°C) operation and meets MIL-STD-202G specifications to withstand high impact and vibration. Like other VersaLogic products, the SandCat is designed for long-term availability - 10+ year typical production life cycle.

As you may have seen in recent mailings, X-ES has been in the process of moving to a brand new building in Verona, WI.

We are very pleased to confirm that they are fully up and running, and the new design and manufacturing facility is pretty spectacular, as Nigel saw for himself a few weeks ago.
