CDP News -Q3 No images? Click here News after the lockdownTHANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT IN THIS SANITARY CRISIS!Since March 2020, the Green Mango Centre has suspended its activities like all social and educational programs in Congo DRC and elsewhere. During this difficult period, the staff could notably contribute to the sensitization on covid-19 prevention (with water dispenser for washing hands and masks making); and supervise the work to start to strengthen the fence and to upgrade the solar installation thanks to the Woluwe-Saint-Lambert municipality and private donors. We are grateful to them. Market gardening and the beekeeping activities have increased. Books and toys were put at the disposal of the kids individually. For the reopening in the coming weeks, we will offer intensive literacy, languages, sewing and IT courses in small groups and outdoor. The delay to catch up -despite the possibility for kids to follow courses on the national TV and radio- is very important but the willingness to learn is bigger. New partnerships are about to be concluded with schools including to use our sport facilities and to develop specific environment protection programmes to learn to save forest and water reserves and biodiversity. Finally we express our solidarity to the Lebanese people and convey our moral support through our Board Member Marc.
