96 points, Tyson Stelzer, WBM Magazine. No Images? Click here Dear wine lover, Just a quick email to let everyone know that the Kay Brothers Amery Block 6 Shiraz 2016 has just been released. Our supplier has only been allocated 72 bottles which only a fraction can be secured for World Wine customers on a first come first serve basis. Kay Brothers Block 6 Shiraz has firmly established itself as one of Australia's most iconic red wines. Each vintage the Block 6 Shiraz grapes are lovingly tended, handpicked and fermented in the original open fermenters originally built by the Kay Brothers in the late 1890's. Basket-pressed and aged for 20 months in American and Baltic oak, the result is a Shiraz of noted strength, structure and longevity; Block 6 Shiraz. Here is a review from the Australian Wine Business Magazine (WBM): "96 Points. The front label boldly declares, "Handpicked from 124 year old vines", a teaser to the seamless complexity and effortless confidence of this lauded label. 2016 goes down among my favourites yet, for its calm juxtaposition of reverberating depth of satsuma plum and black cherry fruits and exotic spice and its finely poised structure of firm, finely textured tannins and gliding persistence. 14.0%." - Tyson Stelzer, WBM Magazine, Sept / Oct 2018. The price is $95, and it will be gone before the end of the week. If you are interested in securing some, please reply to this email before 12 noon tomorrow. P.s. To those who are waiting on news about the Seville Estate pre-order, we will know by the end of the week most likely. Cheers |
