No images? Click here Monthly Newsletter | February 2020Hello WIT@UCSF Members, February is a very busy month! First off, thank you to all who came out to celebrate WIT@UCSF's 1st birthday! We learned how to think about our careers with a new lens at the Design Your Career Workshop, toasted to the past year and to what's to come, and we can't wait to start working on the next chapter of our story together. Speaking of what's to come, we are announcing the launch of a Professional Development Subcommittee and we need your help to make it happen. Do you have ideas about events we could put on or groups we could collaborate with? Is helping your colleagues and building a strong network something you're interested in? Does the thought of building a mechanism where we can help each other succeed through mentorship and sponsorship excite you? Then, this subcommittee is for you! If you're interested, we be holding an information session on Tuesday, March 17 at 2pm (room TBD). We look forward to seeing you there! ^Design Your Career Workshop on January 21, 2020 Next, in anticipation of International Women's Day (IWD), please check out two items below: UCSF's IWD celebration, which will take place the entire week of March 2, and a survey of our members' technology- related achievements so that they can be highlighted in the UC IT Blog. We hope you can participate in both. Power on! Upcoming Events Member SpotlightThis month, we get to know Jennifer Dood Camacho, Information Technology Director and Spartan race trainee.
