He envisions PCAM as a self-sustaining not-for-profit that provides superior representation of its members, thrives on change and innovation, and never stops learning and growing. Therefore, we are recruiting committee members to join the bargaining committee to help ensure our member’s needs are being met. Please contact Kim Baril, Secretary: kbaril@pcam.ca Member Rates In anticipation of upcoming bargaining and an increased number of labour related challenges this past fiscal year, PCAM executive put forward a motion to increase yearly fees by a modest amount. We feel this is a necessary move to secure a position to continue serving our members. This increase places PCAM dues in line with other unions. At the Anunal General Meeting on May 14th, 2018, the motion was passed to increase yearly dues by $300 per year, beginning on June 7th, 2018. This is an increase of $12 per pay period to each member. We appreciate your understanding and support as we continue to represent all Physician and Clinical Assistants across our province. NOTE: The increase is effective 2018, not 2019, as previously stated. We strive to protect the “rights” of our employees, are passionate about worker safety, and play an important part in your workplace every day. |
