May Webinar: ME'scope SDM using Substructuring
Join Mark Richardson, President and CEO of Vibrant on Thursday May 28th at 10am MT for "ME'scope SDM using Substructing".
In this demonstration, SDM will be used to model the attachment of a RIB stiffener to an aluminum plate. The new modes obtained from SDM will be compared with the FEA modes for the plate with the RIB attached and also to the EMA modes for the plate with the actual RIB attached.
Modal Assurance Criterion (MAC) values are used to access the likeness of mode shape pairs resulting from the following cases,
1. EMA versus FEA modes of the plate without the RIB
2. SDM versus FEA modes with the RIB attached
3. SDM versus EMA modes with the RIB attached
