Good morning, everyone! I hope you had a GREAT Memorial Day weekend! I got to spend it exploring Seattle with my family. It's our first time in the Pacific Northwest, so we can't wait! Because of Memorial Day, I'm writing this on FRIDAY, so I'll have some updates for you next week. Was it raining and dreary the whole time? Was it amazing? I don't know! Seattle LOOKS super cool, so we hope it is! I hope you had an amazing Memorial Day weekend yourself!
On the work front, the whole team's been busy adding new settlements and investigations. If you're looking to submit a claim, hit the settlements section. If you're looking to start a class action, hit the investigations section, and find out what attorneys are looking to file! As always, when you're filing claims for settlements, make sure to BE PATIENT. Once you submit your claim it usually takes AT LEAST six months to finalize, if there aren't any objections. If there are objections to the settlement (usually there are), it can take one to three years to resolve. That's why I always advise people to submit claims for every single settlement they qualify for. That way in a year they'll start to get checks regularly, every couple weeks, or at least one a month.
If you only submit a claim once a month, you'll be stuck waiting a long time. Make sure to submit your claims for open settlements you qualify for every single week. That's the best way to make sure you start getting checks regularly.
I hope that helps! On to more lawsuit and settlement updates!
That's all for now! Make it a GREAT week!
Warm Regards,
Scott Hardy
