"Rough" Sexual Behaviors and the Influence of Porn

Does pornography influence what happens in America's bedrooms? 

New research suggests it might.

In a recent Journal of Sexual Medicine study, scientists surveyed over 2,000 adults in the United States, asking them about their porn use and their sex lives. 

Most of the respondents had used porn at some point in their lives.  And many reported engaging in "rough" behaviors, like spanking and choking.

Social Media Users Talk Testosterone

Lots of us get health information from the internet, especially through social media outlets. On Reddit and Twitter, many conversations focus on testosterone. 

What are people saying? That's what a team of scientists wanted to know.

They analyzed almost 700 tweets and over 5,200 Reddit posts and noted some common themes, like low testosterone symptoms and hormone replacement therapy. 

On Reddit, users often questioned their healthcare providers' knowledge of testosterone deficiency and worried about being taken seriously.

COVID-19 Virus Found in Semen

Chinese researchers have discovered SARS-CoV-2 (the virus that causes COVID-19) in semen samples.

Researchers collected the samples from 38 men who were treated for COVID-19 earlier this year. 

They found that 16% of the samples contained the virus.
