Prayer Points

This week we pray for:

  • For all people and communities impacted by the flooding across New South Wales and Queensland
  • For refugees and people seeking asylum in Australia to find safety and welcome
  • For this Easter weekend, let us have hearts of thankfulness for Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross. Let us have eyes that look upon God’s grace and rejoice in our salvation.

Reflection of the week

Even jellybeans can remind us of Easter... Red - the blood of Jesus; Black - the darkness that descended at the time Jesus died; Blue - the sadness of Easter Saturday, the feeling of the disciples; White - the angels guarding the tomb; Green - the hope of the resurrection; Purple - the royalty of Jesus the King

Easter is a time to reflect on the sacrifice of Jesus, the love of the Father and our own response.
