In less than 1 week, the GMREB’s 10,500+ members will be called upon to make a decisive choice for the future of our profession. For the first time in history, you have the choice between 2 opposing visions: Status quo, or change.
For far too long, our profession has been denigrated and run through the mud down by an unscrupulous competitor. Every day, of every week, of every month, of every year, we must work harder and longer to maintain our revenues. Real estate brokers have lost the battle of notoriety, repect and competence in the public’s view.
For far too long, the GMREB has been telling us that the rise in unregulated competition is only a false perception on our behalf, explainable by a greater visibility of FSBO’s. No later than last week, on the GMREB’s Facebook group, a present administrator of the board replied the following to a member requesting concerted and vigorous action in response to the ‘’green wave’’
‘’Did you know that FSBO’s were always a part of the décor in Quebec? Did you know that in the past 5 years real estate market shares with respect to FSBO’s has not decreased?’’
It’s Time for a Change
For the first time in GMREB’s history, you can choose to elect a team whom’s sole priority and motivation is to set the GMREB’s train back on it’s tracks, focus on it’s mission: actively promote and protect its members' professional and business interests in order for them to successfully meet their business objectives. Not only to maintain our predominance in the reals estate market, put to increase it!
A team of five candidates are now proposing a clear, defined strategy to increase our market shares : A clear choice for any real estate broker and to defend our profession. A choice to make the GMREB our REB.
