A time to honor and acknowledge the legacy, contributions, and achievements of women in the United States. The 2020 Women's History Month theme is Valiant Women of the Vote - which honors "the brave women who fought to win suffrage rights for women, and for the women who continue to fight for the voting rights of others." Transgender Day of Visibility (March 31st) is a day focused on celebrating the accomplishments of trans and non-binary people, while also raising awareness on the discrimination trans and non-binary people face. Equal Pay Day (March 31st) was created in 1996 by the National Committee on Pay Equity (NCPE) to promote awareness to the gap between men's and women's wages. Cesar Chavez Day (March 31st) is a day to remember and honor the legacy of Cesar Chavez.
