CBS Alumni Update #4

Denmark's largest business network

CBS Alumni is your opportunity to engage with a vast business network in Denmark and abroad.

In this issue of CBS Alumni Update, meet an alumna who has made networking her career in the US and learn how to make the most of your CBS network on LinkedIn. Also, read why alumni of the future may never have met their fellow students. CBS is now offering a number of free online courses open to everyone - alumni included.

But there are still plenty of courses and events taking place physically at CBS. We have tailored a series of seminars to equip you to get involved in a startup. Bring your professional experience, industry knowledge and skills into play as a mentor or investor. We guarantee that your professional competences will be challenged.

We are proud to call CBS Alumni Denmark's largest business network, which you take part in every day. We always appreciate your questions, comments and suggestions.

Helene Brøndholt Nielsen, Head of Alumni Relations

Why not take a MOOC next time?

Over the last two years CBS has focused on developing massive open online courses, or MOOCs, which has recently led to CBS winning a competition to offer a number of courses on Coursera, the world’s largest MOOC site. The people behind CBS’ courses are convinced that MOOCs are particularly relevant for alumni. (Screenshot from Coursera)

In your own words: Charlotte Wittenkamp, culture and integration consultant and author

This month’s “In your own words” is from an alumnus who believes powerfully in networks. Active on Copenhagen Business School Alumni’s LinkedIn group, she takes part in numerous networks and otherwise helps others to ward off culture shock, something she experienced in 1998 when she suddenly accompanied her husband to California, where she still lives today. (Photo: Private Photo)
