Intervention Helps Men Through Penile Rehab

After having their prostate gland surgically removed, many men undergo penile rehabilitation therapy to restore their erections. 

For some men, the therapy includes self-injections with a medicine that induces erections. But the procedure can be unpalatable, and not all men comply with their rehab program. 

Recently, a team of researchers developed an intervention that could make injection therapy easier to take.

The Acceptance and Commitment Therapy for Erectile Dysfunction coaches men and helps them deal with frustration and anxiety while focusing on their end goal - better erections.

A recent survey of 425 German women revealed that the vast majority - 95% - have masturbated at least once in their lives.
