Auckland moves to Level 3 from 6am Sunday 28 FebruaryAs you will have heard from the Prime Minister this evening, Auckland will move to Alert Level 3 at 6 am Sunday 28 February for seven days. The rest of the country will move to Alert Level 2. Confirmed case at Manukau Institute of Technology (MIT)We are also extending our support and aroha to our MIT whānau after the Government confirmed one of their students is the latest positive case. We have a close relationship with MIT and we are aware staff and students are regularly at Unitec's campuses We want to reassure you that MIT are working closely with the Ministry of Health and our Incident Management Team to provide updates and clarity for any of our whānau who have concerns. What this means for youTo ensure we keep everyone safe as we work through this situation, all campuses will be closed for the next 7 days. Learning and teaching will move online. Teaching staff will notify you of your online learning arrangements. Due to the campus closures, all events and activities are also cancelled including orientation. It is important to remember If you or a family member is unwell, please stay at home
