The food we serve and the tastes our culinary scene cultivates are directly impacted by where our food comes from. As chefs become more aware about the impact of their food choices, strong relationships between local producers and popular restaurants have formed, making “farm to fork” a new standard of sustainability.

In the latest edition of our Agribusiness series, we explore this new standard of sustainability over a locally-sourced menu at Charbar in the heart of the East Village. With fork in hand, hear from some of the biggest players in the local food industry as they discuss the whole food value chain and its importance to food security, food supply and sustainability, and how it relates to upcoming food trends.

The workplace can be a stressful environment, especially now in a time of economic uncertainty. Every day 500,000 Canadians miss work due to mental illness, making it imperative for Canadian companies to address mental health issues in the workplace.
