Lichfield District Council’s community newsletter
Welcome to February's LDC NewsJanuary was a busy month which, amongst other things, saw us plant over 3000 trees as part of our Tiny Forests project in partnership with Severn Trent and Earthwatch Europe as part of the celebration of this year's Commonwealth Games. Look out for details coming soon of our Active Lichfield half term programme that will be launched over the next couple of
weeks on social media and via the Active Lichfield website. Later on this month we will also be publishing the feedback and recommendations report from the Local Government Association following our corporate peer challenge review carried out in November.

Have your say on changes in Beacon Park We would like to hear from you about new uses for 20 acres of Beacon Park. The current golf, foot and disc courses are attracting less than 8,000 usages each year – around 20 per day. We are looking to change what happens in this area of Beacon Park, so more people use it and benefit from it.

Give us your viewsWe've launched a review of community governance looking at current and future parish level provision across Lichfield District including a consultation for everyone in the district to share their views. The results will help us draw up recommendations for any new or revised community governance arrangements that will be consulted on later in the year.
