Last week, City Council finally voted on the $52 million tax room from the province and what to do with it.

After providing residents with a one-time rebate on their property taxes, Council decided the next ten years of property tax room would be better spent creating a $520 million reserve fund to help build dedicated bus lanes for a southeast-north transit way.
