I hope you are relaxed and ready to take advantage of the range of professional development opportunities we have planned for 2021. In 2020 our programming moved to a fully virtual format due to COVID. Our attendance was through the roof and feedback was very positive, so we’ll be continuing with online delivery as the preferred approach this year. A few in-person events will be kept in the mix to enable you to interact and connect with other HDRs, which some of you were missing last year. Up first we have courses on R, leadership, IP, and unlocking the secrets of successful research students (this one is great for new HDRs!). We are also accepting expressions of interest for our 8 week career planning program Career Control for Researchers. Login to CaRST Online at any time to find and book into upcoming activities, and stay tuned to our newsletter for updates on different opportunities for HDRs within and external to the University. Best, Dr Monica Kerr CaRST EventsPlease note that CaRST Events are for HDR students only unless otherwise specified. Before registering for CaRST events, please review our no-show policy.
