Wow, it’s come around quickly! Nominations are open for the Unitec Excellence Awards - Ngā Tohu Kairangi o Wairaka, so it’s time to recognise and celebrate those individuals and teams who have stood out to you over the past year.

The categories are much the same as last year (with a couple of minor changes) and include awards recognising excellence in teaching, research, and support. Take a look at the full list of categories and criteria on the Nest. You can submit as many nominations as you like.

Three weeks to nominate
Nominations close on Tuesday 29 October which gives you three weeks to write your 300-word nomination. It’s an easy process and a fantastic way to highlight the excellent work of your colleagues across Unitec. I encourage you to take your time and provide evidence and details to help the judges decide on the winners.

The awards event will be held on Thursday 5 December; we’ll keep you posted on the details.
