MHPN farewells inspiring leader
Late February we thanked John McGrath for the 10 years he dedicated to MHPN as Chair. His wisdom and leadership was an inspiration, and he will be sorely missed. Why are networks interdisciplinary?
MHPN networks provide a forum for psychologists, GPs, psychiatrists, social workers, mental health nurses, counsellors or any other health practitioner to meet regularly in their local area. Research shows that being part of a network develops practitioner relationships, which boosts referral pathways and referral confidence.
