Click here New 100 MW Wind Farm Expands Our Renewable ResourcesWith the addition of a new 100-megawatt (MW) wind farm near the Arizona-New Mexico border last month, TEP is closer to our goal of providing more than 70 percent of our power from renewable resources by 2035. The Borderlands wind farm will generate enough power during a year to serve the annual electric needs of more than 26,000 homes. Proud to Support January 8 MemorialWhen community leaders began planning a memorial honoring victims of the January 8, 2011 mass shooting in Tucson, they chose a site within a downtown plaza that sits at the heart of our local government – not realizing it was above a critical underground electric line.
