On September 10th, about 180 people came out to support Kavaliro’s 3rd Annual Kick Off For Kids event at Rock & Brews! All proceeds from the event benefitted Central Florida Public School food pantries and its Backpack Programs. The event raised a total of $32,607 and 800 pounds of food to be donated to local elementary school children.

The Kick Off For Kids event is a continuation of Kavaliro’s longstanding commitment to helping the underprivileged in Central Florida. Sparked by the 60 Minutes documentary, Kavaliro continues to make a commitment to help feed the hungry in the community.

Kavaliro partnered with Central Florida Public Schools to support its Backpack Program and has collected more than 27,000 pounds of food through food drive donations. Kick Off For Kids has obtained a 501(c) (3) certification, declaring it an official tax-exempt nonprofit organization in the United States. Read more about the event here!

In July, Kavaliro celebrated the opening of its new office and creation of new jobs with a ribbon-cutting ceremony in Petaluma! Kavaliro has created hundreds new, high-paying jobs in the Bay Area since the acquisition of Hynes & Company in May.

According to the recent U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics job report, 223,000 new jobs were added to the economy, and Kavaliro is contributing to this national growth with the addition of  new jobs in the Bay Area.
