Welsh Athletics Officials

Officials newsletter

Dear ,

Welcome to the third edition of our Officials newsletter.

A competition update from Head of Competition - Rhiannon Linnington-Payne.

"In conjunction with the Home Nations and in partnership with OpenTrack, Welsh Athletics are delighted to launch a virtual racing platform that will be offered free of charge to our affiliated clubs, registered running groups and their runners during the COVID-19 crisis.  The platform will provide an easy-to-use entry and results system for those wishing to host virtual competitions, along with the option for charitable donations when entering a race, utilising data from either Strava or Garmin."

Home exercises

You might want to try balance exercises recommended by the NHS. Or check out a 10 minute chair-based workout video from Joe Wicks.

The Body Coach Joe Wicks has a range of workouts for all ages and abilities. Click here to see a full list of his videos on his YouTube channel.

Reminder - tell us how you want to be supported and rewarded

If you haven't already please take the time to engage in our Officials satisfaction survey to voice your thoughts and ideas so we can understand how to improve your officiating experience (deadline Thursday 7th May).

All responses will be collated, summarised and actioned accordingly. As an organisation we are taking your feedback, whether positive or negative seriously. I would like to thank the officials who have already completed the survey.
