Lauréat Prix Gaudeamus 2016 

Notre Composer’s Kitchen 2016 à Gaudeamus Muziekweek s’est déroulé avec succès la semaine passée! Nous sommes particulièrement fiers que l’un des participants de l’atelier, Anthony Vine, remporte le Prix Gaudeamus. Nous avons créé son nouveau quatuor Between Blue  la semaine passée à TivoliVredenburg lors de Gaudeamus Muziekweek. Ce fut un plaisir de travailler avec tous ces jeunes compositeurs talentueux durant le festival — David Bird, Giulio Colangelo, Gabriel Dharmoo, Patrick Giguère, James O’Callaghan et Shih-Wei Lo — dont nous admirons le dévouement, la passion et les habiletés. Our 2016 Composer's Kitchen was held successfully at Gaudeamus Muziekweek! We are very proud that one of the participants of our workshop, Anthony Vine, won the Gaudeamus Award. We created a new quartet with him, “Between Blue",  at the TivoliVredenburg during Gaudeamus. It was a pleasure to work with great young composers at this renowned festival: David Bird, Giulio Colangelo, Gabriel Dharmoo, Patrick Giguère, James O'Callaghan and Shih-Wei Lo. The New Yorker / Wandelweiser

Alex Ross du New Yorker parle des enregistrement des quatuors de Jürg Frey par le QB dans cette excellente introduction au groupe Wandelweiser. Depuis plus de quinze ans nous sommes d’ardents défenseurs de leur musique et nous nous réjouissons que ces compositeurs obtiennent une telle reconnaissance! Le son du Bozzini a été formé au contact d’une myriade de styles, musiques et contacts avec différents artistes et compositeurs. Ceux associés au groupe Wandelweiser y sont pour beaucoup. 

Alex Ross of The New Yorker discusses the QB recordings of Jürg Frey’s string quartets in this excellent introduction to the music of the Wandelweiser group. For over fifteen years we have been strong advocates of their music and we are delighted to see them get such recognition! The sound of the Bozzini was formed in contact with a myriad of styles and through connections with various artists and composers, many of whom are associated with the Wandelweiser group.
