Twin Cities See Another Surge in Single-Family Construction

Due to a significant boost in single-family production, the Twin Cities saw the highest number of permits pulled in the month of September since September 2006.  Month-over-month single-family construction increased by nearly 40 percent, while year-to-date single family permits are up 11 percent compared to 2015. So far this year the total number of permits pulled is outpacing 2015 by 10 percent.

Fall Parade of Homes & Remodelers Showcase

As we close the door on our 68th Fall Parade of Homes and 29th Fall Remodelers Showcase, reports were generally very favorable. As always, some areas were hot and others not so much, but so far over 60% of those who responded to our participant survey rated the tour as excellent or good. If you were a part of the Parade of Homes or Remodelers Showcase but haven't replied to our survey, please do so now (click the links above). And look for our Brief Wrap-Up coming out soon.
