Celebrating International Day of People with Disability
Council is celebrating the contributions and achievements of people with disability throughout the week. We have three fantastic FREE experiences we encourage the community to come along to, in particular people with disabilities, their family and carers.

The BreastScreen Victoria mobile screening van will be in Young Street providing FREE breast screening for over 50s until Thursday. It only takes 10 minutes and is with a female radiographer. No referral needed, bookings encouraged.
Boulevard Tree Planting:
Frankston–Dandenong Road
Council plans to undertake street tree planting along Cranbourne Road and Nepean Highway in 2020, as part of the Bulk Street Tree Planting project — to improve the attractiveness of key roads within the municipality. Council wants your feedback on the proposed project by Tuesday 24 December.
Love Where You Live: Summer Art Workshops
Carrum Downs, Skye & Sandhurst
Four amazing FREE art workshops will run during December and January — part of the Love Where You Live community project. Workshops include: Paper Sewing with Kylie Stillman and Your Colourful Home with Georgia Harper.
Christmas Festival of Lights: Frankston's Skating Wonderland
Until Sunday 8 December, various times, Frankston Library forecourt, 60 Playne Street, Frankston, $5 each for adults and children
Strap on some skates and be a part of this very special new addition to Christmas fun in Frankston City, part of Frankston’s Christmas Festival of Lights. Skaters can also enjoy the Book and Bean Café's extended operating hours while the rink is open.

Thank you to our amazing volunteers
It was lovely seeing so many of our volunteers enjoying some time in the spotlight, at our annual thank you event last week. We are lucky to have more than 140 volunteers contributing around 2,186 hours every month to our Family Health Support Services programs.
