Coping with Endometriosis
The pain and stress associated with endometriosis can take their toll on a woman's sex life. Fortunately, there are ways to cope, as we discuss in our latest blog post.
Endometriosis occurs when endometrial tissue, which normally lines the uterus, grows outside the uterus. These growths might appear on the ovaries, fallopian tubes, bladder, and other areas of the abdomen.
The condition can be quite painful, especially during a woman's menstrual period.
It can make intercourse painful, too. But there are steps couples can take to adjust and still enjoy intimacy.

How Does Discrimination Affect People With Gender Dysphoria?
For people with gender dysphoria, daily life can be a struggle as they balance out the gender of their birth with the gender they feel most comfortable with. Some decide to live as the opposite gender; others take hormones and undergo surgery to make the transition. Along the way, they often face discrimination - from bosses, co-workers, neighbors, and even their own family.
Recently, Turkish researchers surveyed 94 people with gender dysphoria on the physical, psychological, environmental, and social aspects of their lives. They found that discrimination lowered the participants' quality of life and noted the importance of support from family and friends.
