2021 Commencement

Congratulations 2021 Graduates!

Earlier this month the spring class of 2021 was officially welcomed into the Eberly alumni community. Students and their guests had the opportunity to attend an in person graduation at Beaver Stadium for the first time since 1984. Web users can visit the Eberly Commencement website to hear remarks from college leadership, congratulatory messages, and find out who the college student marshals are.

GradienT°’s TemperSure Brings Stability to Biopharmaceuticals

"TemperSure, a new drug screening technology from Penn State startup GradienT°, aims to reduce both the time and financial costs in biological drug development by increasing certainty in drug shelf life and expiration dates." Read more on GradienT° here.

Eberly junior named Goldwater Scholar

Eilene Deng was one of three selected Penn State students to be named Goldwater Scholars. The
Barry M. Goldwater Foundation recognizes undergraduate students in the fields of natural science, engineering and mathematics.

Elizabeth McGraw named head of Department of Biology

Professor and Huck Scholar in Entomology and Director of the Center for Infectious Disease Dynamics (CIDD), has been named the new head of the Department of Biology, effective April 1, 2021.
