UF Pediatrics Resident Completes AAP Department of Federal Affairs Internship Program

Markus Renno, M.D., recently completed a four-week child advocacy internship in Washington, DC.

The internship program focused on child health policy, the legislative process, federal advocacy and public affairs activities.

CMN's Dance Marathon

Dance Marathon at the University of Florida is a year-long effort that culminates on April 13-14 in a 26.2-hour event where more than 800 students stay awake and on their feet to symbolize the obstacles faced by children with serious illnesses or injuries.

The event raises money  to purchase life-saving medical equipment, fund pediatric research and purchase diversionary activities for patients at Shands Hospital for Children.
