Rail LiveThe PWI team were delighted to be among the two hundred exhibitors at Rail Live recently. We were situated in two locations for the bustling rail event - outside with our friends at the Bridgeway stand who kept us fed with burgers and entertained by drone displays, and inside the marquee next to our friends at Women in Rail who were thrilled to see how our team has transformed. The two-day event based in Statford-upon-Avon, West Midlands, saw around six thousand guests attend, bringing together experts and professionals from the biggest names in the rail industry. The weather held up and visitors enjoyed demonstrations from British Transport Police, including the armed response unit, and the dog unit that stole the show. The Hydrogen Train was also on display, showcasing ideas for a greener rail service. And a Network Rail Village greeted guests with coffee and insights into future plans. It was a buzzing event and a great opportunity to build on our existing friendships and to showcase the value of the PWI to new members.
