Our Lady of Grace Newsletter No Images? Click here Dear Jesus, you entered our world on Christmas as the Prince of Peace. This Advent, as we strive to become the-best-version-of-ourselves, fill us with a deep and abiding peace. Help us share that peace with everyone we encounter, especially those who need it most. Amen. TERM 4 WEEK 8 4 DECEMBER, 2019 PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGEDear Parents and Care givers Some see Advent as a Little Lent. However, the focus is very different. It is a season of Hope filled expectation and preparation for the coming of the Lord. We are called to 'clean house' and make room for the Lord in our lives. However, like most gifts, we do not really appreciate its content unless we unwrap it and receive it. Jesus is coming, and Advent is intended to be a season of preparation for his arrival. While we typically regard Advent as a joyous season, it is also intended to be a period of preparation. Our wish for you all is that you are prepared to celebrate with family and friends, that you are thankful for the gifts you have in your loved ones and you use this time to rest, recoup and then prepare for 2020. I would like to take this opportunuty that thank our OLG community for their support thus ensuring a smooth end to the year. Your respect and consideration at this time is commendable and appreciated. God bless Teresa Wandek and Jacquie Hardwicke Congratulations to the students who received a merit award at last week's assembly.
