Alaska Airlines adds Portland nonstop!

Alaska Airlines is expanding its presence at MKE with a new nonstop flight to Portland, Oregon!  Daily service will be offered this summer from June 5 through August 26.

The new Portland flights will be operated with spacious Wi-Fi equipped Embraer E175 jets, featuring 12 seats in first class, 12 seats in premium class, and 52 seats in the main cabin. The E175 boasts cabin dimensions on par with a narrow-body jet.

With the addition of Portland, MKE now offers service to 39 nonstop destinations.  The new Milwaukee-Portland nonstop flight can be booked online at alaskaair.com.

Volaris is coming to MKE!

Mexican airline Volaris, will start nonstop flights to MKE on March 2!  This is a great option to connect families of Mexican descent. The new nonstop service between MKE and Guadalajara will be operated two days per week with Airbus A320 aircraft, featuring 174 seats.

Volaris has the distinction of being the first Mexican carrier to offer year-round nonstop service from MKE.  At approximately 4.2 million people, the Guadalajara metropolitan area is the second-largest in Mexico.  Guadalajara is also the capital of Jalisco, Mexico, which is a sister state to Wisconsin.

Starbucks now open on Concourse D

A second Starbucks Coffee location recently opened on Concourse D.  The new location offers all your Starbucks favorites in a convenient new post-security location.  If you're not flying out, but want to enjoy a coffee when waiting for an arriving passenger, the Starbucks location in the Concession Mall is open around the clock!
