What A Success!

What an incredibly successful fundraiser we had last month, and it's all because of you!  We raised $24,000!  That means we can send more clients to vocational programming!  It means we can remove success barriers by providing help with childcare and transportation during interviews or even the first two weeks of employment!  It means we can create additional career coaching tools so that our clients can succeed!  It means we can change more lives in the name of Jesus! Thank you for your incredible generosity and for answering the call to be change makers in our community!

In The Community

We have recently partnered with The Learning Resource Connections Center at Ivy Tech to help serve their population of single parents who need what Chosen has to offer.  We will be delivering a series of workshops starting on October 27th.  The ability to respond to this growth opportunity is due to funds raised at our fundraiser.  Please pray for us as we interact with potential new clients and begin this new chapter.  If we can make a difference in just one person's life, then we did our job, but we hope to impact a community of people!

A Snapshot of Some of Our Clients!

Ayesha A.

Ayesha is our newest client.  She is a 25-year old mom with a 3-month old daughter.  She found out about us online and is hopeful that we can help her navigate through employment, child care, enrollment in college, and budgeting.  She has bravely taken steps to remove herself from toxic relationships and is new to Indianapolis.  As a result, she needs one of our mentors and one of our church partners to walk this journey with her.  Her dream is to attend college towards a degree in Early Childhood Education. Please pray for her and her daughter as they move forward.

Katie H.

Katie is a single mother of three. She successfully completed her Property & Casualty Insurance Course at Pathfinder Insurance Training School two weeks ago!  Please pray for her as she studies for her Indiana State Exam.  She is scheduled to take her exam next week and we are currently looking for insurance related job opportunities for her.

Kelly C.

Kelly is a mother of two who has been in our program for several months.  Having a mentor has given her the courage to pursue her academic goals.  She just completed her financial aid paperwork and is scheduled to meet with an Academic Advisor at Ivy Tech on the 25th of this month.  We believe that she can do all things through Christ who gives her strength.  Please pray that she will walk in that truth!
