If you’re a good mate, you will keep schtum when you see or hear wrongdoing, and if need be, you will protect and save the friendship at the expense of the truth. If you doubt this, then I ask you to consider why we have seen the need to introduce whistleblower legislation into our workplaces. COLLEGE NOTICES–––––– SENIOR SCHOOL WINTER SPORTS PHOTOS–––––– Parents are advised that their sons will YEAR 12 MAJOR WORKS NIGHT–––––– The Principal invites you to the Opening of the Year 12 Major Works Evening on Tonight. EMAIL ISSUES–––––– The problem that some parents have experienced recently of some College emails going to junk folders has now been resolved. If you notice that College emails still go to your junk email folder, please contact the College. LOST PROPERTY–––––– It is expected that all students’ belongings/clothing/devices, etc MUST BE CLEARLY LABELLED appropriately e.g. Joshua Smith NOT Joshua. Students are notified via their email to collect lost labelled items from the College Reception a copy of this email also goes to the Year Coordinator and Homeroom teacher. All items that are not labelled and have been in Lost Property for a significant time will be removed at the conclusion of the Term and they will either go to the Uniform Shop to be resold as “Second Hand” items or to a designated charity. The College Reception cannot be responsible for any lost property especially for unlabelled items. JUNIOR SCHOOL–––––– FROM THE DIRECTOR OF JUNIOR SCHOOL–––––– I was grateful over the weekend for the outpouring of love for fathers and important men that was evident as we celebrated Fathers’ Day. Isn’t it nice that as a society we make time for things like this? CURRICULUM–––––– HSC MAJOR WORKS–––––– Tonight’s Exhibition Night of HSC Major Works is the culmination of months of dedicated hard work by many young men of the Class of 2019. HOSTING ITALIAN EXCHANGE STUDENTS–––––– If you were in and around St Patrick’s College in the past few weeks you would have noticed some crazy fashion and theatrical mannerisms coming from particular students. That’s right, the Italians had arrived once again! WELLBEING–––––– HOUSE GROUP PERIOD–––––– Monday saw the latest instalment of the Wellbeing Framework being implemented with students and staff being involved in a House Group Period. SENIOR SPORT FIXTURES–––––– Find all of the latest Senior Sport fixture details below JUNIOR SCHOOL SPORT REPORT–––––– Parents are advised that the Junior School will have it’s co-curricular sports photos on Wednesday 18 September. These photos will be for both the summer and winter sports. Photos will be taken in the College Hall and start at 8.35am with representative and squad photos and continue through the day with the teams.
