Welcome to the first edition of the Build newsletter! We will be sending this out at the beginning of every month and it will feature works by the studio, talks and events that we will be involved with, as well as books and publications featuring our work. We will also be including things we think are ace, maybe the odd playlist or two, and some exclusive competitions. This is also the best way we can update you all with news about our 11 Year show in September (details below). We hope you enjoy!

Blood, Sweat & 11 Years
Our first newsletter deserves a special bit of news! This September, to celebrate the studio's 11th birthday, we are holding an exhibition at the Dray Walk Gallery. Running from 11th to 16th September and coinciding with the opening weekend of London Design Festival, 'Blood, Sweat & 11 Years' will feature selected prints and posters produced over the last eleven years. Most pieces will be for sale, along with a show catalogue and other items.

New stationery
A stationery refresh that Patrick Bateman would appove of. We recently updated Build's stationery: Colorplan White Frost, foil-blocked metallic green and black gloss, all expertly printed by Generation Press.

Unit Editions talk
Ever wondered what's it like to work at Build? Pick Michael and Nicky's brains at this free event at the Design Museum on 13 July. The afternoon is inspired by Studio Culture: The secret life of the graphic design studio, published by Unit Editions. Also speaking at the event will be Adrian Shaughnessy, Spin, Julia and Bibliothèque.

Develop in Brighton
Michael will be taking part in this year's Develop conference in Brighton on Wednesday 11 July. In the session, 'The Edge Panel: Outsider Art: What Can Creatives Outside the Industry Teach Videogames?' Michael will be discussing his work, as part of the Designers Republic, on the Wipeout series for Playstation. Find out more
