The mid semester break is nearly here!

So if you're studying in semester 2, get ready for holidays and be sure to give yourself a break - even if you have some study to do.

For everyone else, studies continue! While you're working through your to-do list, don't forget there's plenty happening, including Roller-Palooza on the Maths Lawns, Pakistani Night, Media Ball and more.

    Access Studiosity in your MyUni course, under "Assignment Help" to get feedback on your work in less than 24 hours, or live expert assistance on writing, maths, science and economics online from 2pm – midnight, Monday to Friday, and all day Saturday and Sunday.

  • Master of Teaching Information Session
    Are you about to graduate and still unsure about your career path? Come along to a Master of Teaching information session on 19 September and hear firsthand where a career in education can take you.

 

  • Student attendance at Global Climate Strike event
    The University of Adelaide supports students and staff whatever they decide about attending the climate change rally organised for 20 September.
    Students should discuss their attendance with their academic coordinator to check that they will not compromise set expectations for their learning or that of their peers, for example, if they are involved in group work.
    Staff who want to attend should work with their line manager to make arrangements that ensure there is no disruption to scheduled teaching and that services to students not attending the rally are not interrupted.
 
  • Engineers Without Borders school outreach
    Looking for something to do during the mid-semester break? Engineers Without Borders will be holding a Renewable Energy school outreach on 25 September 9:30 am -1:30 pm for Marni Wingku and we are looking for volunteers for the workshop.
  • Stepping Into - Summer 2020 Paid Internships
    Are you a student with disability looking for paid work experience that counts?
    The Australian Network on Disability (AND) is offering students with disability paid internships opportunity with leading organisations across various disciplines. Find out more here.

 
  • Coffee giveaways in PASS classes
    Need a boost to get through to the mid-semester break? Random coffee giveaways will be happening in week 8 in selected PASS classes, where you can improve your grades and understanding of course content. No need to enrol, just check the timetable and come along!
  • MyUni satisfaction survey
    Have your say about MyUni and spend 10 minutes telling us more by completing the MyUni Satisfaction survey. Give us your feedback now, before the survey closes at 11.59pm, 20 September.

New University Events Website

Curious about what's happening around campus? The University’s central events website has received a facelift to make it easier than ever for you to submit events and find out about what's on at uni. Designed as a go-to events guide for students, alumni, staff and the community, students are encouraged to submit events of all sizes from bake sales and sausage sizzles to pub crawls and balls.

    Join us for this conference regarding contested histories and emerging identities. Hosted by the Fay Gale Centre for research on gender, it aims to bring together postgraduate students and early career researchers from across Australia to share work and research. Careers & employment

The Adelaide University Union advertises part time work for current students on the paid vacancies page from Employment Services.

Career Services are free for all students. CareerHub features a jobs board of opportunities related to your studies including paid work experience and graduate roles. The Careers team also run employer events and workshops to increase employability, build resumes, improve your interview skills and more.
