The bold design evolved from a concept to add an experiential 3rd dimension to the existing 2 dimensional material that was to be on show – a refined collection of selected historical Italian graphic design.

“I decided to begin with the blank pages of a book, studying their physical structure and filling them with life in motion, setting their contents in various sections spread along a careful path” – studio Fabio Novembre. This concept is evident when moving through the individual spaces – with partition walls replicating a fan of pages, giving the sense that the visitor is moving within the pages of a book.

‘TDM5: Grafica Italiana’ runs until 24th February 2013 at Triennale Design Museum, Milan.
