Our growing membership base is evidence that the conversation around manufacturing in Australia has completely shifted. It is out of the question if we need manufacturing! Rather, it is the question how do we advance manufacturing?

AMGC recently celebrated a significant milestone; we now have 1,000 members. Incat Crowther—a manufacturer of marine craft across commercial, military and civilian sectors—was the 1,000th company to join our national network of manufacturers.

The Additive Manufacturing Hub is planning a series of free, one-day educational events at universities around the country, to introduce people in the manufacturing industry to the world of additive manufacturing.

Industry News

The Gateway to Industry Schools Program, which is funded and supported by the Queensland Government, has expanded in 2020 to include a project focused specifically on Advanced Manufacturing.

With over 200 schools already participating, the Gateway to Industry Schools Program is designed to help address skills shortages by creating, and investing in, talent pipelines in Queensland high schools.
