Spring has arrived in Albury Wodonga and a new season brings a new location for our Visitor Information Centre. We extend an open invitation for you and your teams to come and check out the new location, in the Albury LibraryMuseum. Alongside the usual range of maps and brochures is a full range of local souvenir items and our friendly, knowledgeable team delivering local information and tips.

Recently we were proud sponsors of the Outstanding Business in Accommodation, Hospitality & Tourism category of the Telstra Albury Wodonga Business Awards. We congratulate the winners of this category, Billson's Brewery, and Level One Wine Bar on receiving Highly Commended in the same category.

We also congratulate The Real Florist, awarded Outstanding Business in Retail & Personal Services.

Did you know you can access the Visit Albury Wodonga image library and request images to you use in your own marketing? It’s easy, just go to the Murray content library and use the search function to find hundreds of images to choose from. All images are subject to copyright, but are free to use provided permission is granted and mandatory credit applied.

In the past month, we have provided four new submission bids and quotes for potential business events to be held between late 2023 – 2025, bringing over 880 delegates and an estimated economic impact of over $1m. Thank you to all who provided information to assist us with these bids.

We currently have eight destination submission bids pending outcome, and have been notified of three successful events; one in Wodonga and two in Albury.

August Highlights
• Five business events and conferences generating an estimated economic impact of over $700,000 were held at various Albury Wodonga venues.
• Recently held multi-day familiarisations for two Professional Conference Organisers – thank you to all venues and partners who participated.

• 200 Telephone, email and messenger enquiries
• 31 Industry service requests
