The City of Calgary is considering a bid to host the 2026 Olympic and Paralympic Games. There will be a plebiscite on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 asking “Are you for - or are you against - Calgary hosting the 2026 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games?”

Digital tip: A simple equation to help determine a digital campaign's ROI

Traditional finance ROI is defined as net profit from an investment minus investment cost divided by investment cost. However, this calculation is not easy to do in marketing because a fully loaded net profit from a marketing campaign is hard to ascertain.

Instead, most Fortune 500 marketing VPs look at the revenue to cost ratio: incremental revenue driven by a marketing campaign divided by the cost. It's a deceptively easy metric, but used properly, it can enable you to make the bold marketing decisions you need to grow your business.
