Putting in the groundwork
This will be a familiar scene at many clubs currently - the resurfacing and maintenance of greens. At the end of a busy summer bowling season, the greens will be worn and in need of important maintenance. The autumn months are ideal for groundskeepers to ‘put in the groundwork' to get the greens back into shape for the coming season.
